Valuable 14K Gold & Diamond Bracelet Appraisal - USA Made

Dear Mr. & Mrs. Jarrett,

I was recently looking through the jewelry I own and I came across a bracelet which I haven't worn in a while. As is the case I took it down to Boston yesterday to show my daughter just to make sure of the markings on the inside. I have been doing the research and found that of course there aren't many things made in the USA anymore. And this bracelet has the quality mark of 14K on it along with the stamp of USA in it. The bracelet also has about 20 diamonds in it. How would I be able to learn more about this piece of jewelry?  Those were the Hallmark's on this piece. Not until the 1900's was this done to jewelry to assure their purity, etc.
