Understanding 14K Gold 'FP' Marking: Is Your Jewelry Real?

Question
Hello: I have bought a rather expensive ring from an online retailer. It was advertised as 14K gold. When I look inside, it is stamped as 14K FP and there's another stamp that reads China. What does FP stand for? I have never seen this marking before and I want to make sure this is real gold before the return policy grace period runs out in case it is not gold. Thanks! Here's a link to the item:

Answer
The "FP" is the hall mark or makers mark of the ring.
It is a good Idea to see an appraiser before the end of the grace period with all purchases.
