I also have a 18K gold ring, marked with "LORIE", with a mark of a key in front.
Have you found any information on the mark -" LORIE" or a key?

Hello Una and thank you for your inquiry. I have not been able to locate a manufacturer mark "LORIE" or a plain key mark. Could this possibly be a monogram or name ? Could also be a design or particular jewelry line name. You might visit your local library for copies of jewelry trade magazines. These can be a good source for researching jewelry markings especially on fine jewelry. Sorry I couldn't be of more assistance and good luck.
