Wedding Ring Resizing Options: Stretching & Adding Gold

Question
I have a flat wedding band that no loner fits after I put on weight during my pregnancy. I would like to make it bigger, what are the ways of resizing it?

if there are NO stones in the band you could have the ring stretched on a special machine which a jeweler who has a shop on premise will have....or if it has to be sized more than one size up you they will cut the back of the band and add a piece of gold to it and then solder and polish the band like brand new.....
should cost anywhere from 15-30 US for one size up
