Do you think the ring in the photo can be resized from a 7 to a 9?

AnswerKrista, you say with the photo,"14k Gold (I believe)". If it is gold, the ring looks like it can be sized. If not gold, jeweler can tell you if it is silver, plated or overlay. Plated rings or overlay cannot be sized.
Going from a 7 to a size 9 means adding right at 5mm or 2/10 inch. The sides of the ring are openwork and may not allow much bending without distortion I believe 2 sizes will be ok but larger than that could be a problem if the ring is going to stay fairly round and not be oval.
To me it looks like it will work. A jeweler must see the ring and note how it is constructed inside to know more accurately.
