Decoding Maker's Marks: Identifying Your Vintage Ring

Question
Hi,
I just got a ring that is supposedly from the 1950's.  The band is white gold, I think, and has 750 stamped on the inside along with a maker's mark.  The mark looks like the outline of a diamond with the letters "Ed" inside.  If you can help with identifying who made this ring, I would really appreciate it.   I have done some research but am coming up empty. Thanks!

Answer
Sorry Shayna
I dont know that one although that is an interesting looking mark.
There are some internet publications on hall marks that you can find through a google search.
Also check with the GIA Library. They should know of some too.

Thanks for writing!!
