I purchased a 14k 18-20 inch herringbone necklace. My question is Can someone put a fake 14k stamp on jewlery or if there is a 14k stamp then the jewlery is real?

Yes its easy to stamp anything 14kt, there are special details we can see and make an informed decision based on these details if the item is gold or plated, there are many Herringbones on the market with this type of stamp and it is NOT pure gold only plated....email me a picture and I may be able to tell you
