Understanding GP1110kML Gold Plated Jewelry: Is It Real Gold?

I have a ring stamped GP1110kML  does this mean it`s plated?
I tested it with 10k acid and the  deep test  scratch dissolved slowly like it was  less than 10k. Any help would be appreciated.

I think this is a stock number. Gold plated rings if stamped often say "HGE"  (Heavy Gold Electroplate). This ring could be made out of any metal. According to your test it is possibal to be 9K Gold (England)
Try getting it tested with an electronic tester if you can.
