Diamond Earrings Maker Identification: JB & 14K Gold

I recently acquired a pair of diamond stud earings 1.5TCW marked with a diamond shape,centered bewteen the letters D and M, inside the diamond shape are the letters JB, on the opposite side it is marked 14K. On the screw backs is the mark of what looks like a flower (six small dots in a circle) followed by 585, on the opposite side are the letters JB

   Sounds like 585 14K gold. Hallmark letters are either someones initials or manufactures initials. Many people expect me to know all of these. The truth is there are more designers and manufactures thatn there are letters in the alphabet. It might be JB-Star. Although it might not.
