Identifying Antique Military Charm Bracelets: Eagle & Flag Design
QuestionFor several years i have been carrying around a gold charm bracelet, it has six identical charms that are a eagle with a flag that is under the eagles head but between the wings, any idea what it is?
AnswerHello Thelma and thank you for your inquiry. It would be difficult to offer any identification without seeing the item or a picture. Charm bracelets are always popular and much so with the military personnel. The eagle and flag design sound like US Military but other countries used the eagle icon also. If there are no markings, manufacturer or metal content i.e. karat or sterling, you may need to take it to an estate jeweler for id. There are also online appraisal and identification sites that offer their services with a good photo and small fee. (usually under $25). One of the sites is "What's it Worth To You". Just use your browser search for their website. It sounds like a nice bracelet and probably worth checking out further. Good luck.
