Meaning of 'USA' Engraved on a Bracelet: Historical Significance

Hello,

Years ago my mother bought a bracelet from an estate sale. It appears to be old but in great condition. It has the letters USA engraved in the back of the piece. Someone told me that meant something & I cant remember what it was..Can you help?

Hello Lauren and thank you for your inquiry. You don't say whether the USA is on the inside or outside of the bracelet. I have no manufacturers using that designation - only meaning made in the United States of America used sometimes in conjunction with another logo or mark.  Hope this helps and enjoy your bracelet
