Is It a Real Emerald? Identifying Uncut Emeralds & Value
Questionhello i have recently came across a stone that appears to be an uncut emerald. it varies from darker green to a little lighter. it also have a little bit of yellowish brown, cracks, and air bubbles in it. is this a real emerald?
AnswerHello Ryan...
you need to have someone look at it in person.... see if you can find any geologist in your area or rock cutters... emeralds can be hugely expensive... yours may be worth little or a lot..
I would suggest getting two analysis from two separate people... also I would recommend not leaving it overnight with anybody until you know it's value..
