Is Your Gold Necklace Real? Understanding 750 Markings

I have a necklace that was givin to me as a gift i was wondering if you could tell me if its gold or not it has markings on it that say 203 ar 750 is that real ?

Hi Brandon, I am not familiar with the 203 marking but the 750 is a designation mark for 18 karat gold or 75% purity. Your best bet Brandon is to take the necklace to a Jeweler and have him acid test it. They won't charge you in most cases and at least you will know. Good luck.
