I have a 9 carat 56" long necklace with a crown mark on clasp an a 9C in a square on top link of chain can you identify thank you so much someone is really anxious to buy this for 250.00 US so this makes me believe it is worth more

Hello Wendy and thank you for your inquiry. I have been unable to locate your mark but would suggest that you have it professionally tested to confirm the karat gold. Value would depend on the daily market value of gold which is at the moment high.  Once you have your confirmation of the karat and exact weight you will be better able to check daily gold prices. Condition and desirability would also come into consideration but the daily gold prices would determine the bulk of the price.  Check with one of your local jewelry or antique stores for a referral to have it checked.
