Hi, Thomas, I have a bar pin with what appears to be 14 K on the clasp. What is confusing me, is that there appears to be two lines coming off the K on the left side that make the K appear to have an F backed up to it. I have been unable to find any information on this mark, and don't know whether to sell it as 14K gold or not. I've attached a photo.

From what I see the markings to the left are curious but not part of the quality mark. 14k is what I believe the clasp to be. To be certain, you might want to have the item tested by a jeweler who does gold testing.
I have seen similar items with various marks from tool marks, etc., not part of the quality mark. They might have been trying to get the makers mark on there and stamped in the wrong place.
