Identifying Jewelry Hallmarks: Help with a 'Cd' Mark

Hi Bill and Sally! I have this ring that I can't seem to find anything about the hallmark that is on it, or even what it is made of. I know you probably can't help me out with the material but I was hoping you could shed some light on the mark and possible tell an age of it. I have provided a photo. AnswerHello Steve and thank you for your inquiry. I have checked my resources for a "Cd" designation and have not found anything yet. These could possibly be the initials of the original owner. Vintage jewelry was often monogrammed and/or inscribed, especially rings. I'll keep your request in my active search and let you know if I find anything that might be a match.
