Pink Diamond Ring with Korea Stamp: Authenticity & Value

I have a pink diamond ring with a gold band. On the inside of the band it is marked Korea. It has no numbers. My grandmother gave it to me so I'm sure it is old. What does the stamp Korea ? Is it real?

Hello Toni and thank you for your inquiry. Your ring was made in the country of Korea. In order to determine the ring construction you would need to have it appraised or checked by someone able to perform the necessary tests for gold/silver testing and gemstone testing. You could check with your local museum, library or antique shop for a referral to a gemologist or someone who could do this for you or use one of your local jewelers.  They may charge a small fee, but that is the only way to determine the materials used in your ring.  Hope this helps and enjoy your ring.
