I am recently divorced and must go to work. I have always liked cooking and am very seriously thinking about opening a catering company. I have attended a number of weddings and know I can cook these meals. Do you have any suggestions on how I should go about this?

Hi Barb, Being able to cook is just one part. You didn't mention anything about any business or commercial cooking in your background. You should know something in these categories because you will be responsible for everything. What I recommend is to look at the website vocationvacations.com and search for weddings. I am in this program also and it gives you a couple day opportunity to see what is involved in running the type of business you are looking at. Once you see everything that is involved and can handle that, you will know where you need help.
