Mold Exposure During Pregnancy: Potential Risks & Health Concerns

My cousin, who was recently pregnant, was exposed to high levels of mold come to find out after the fact. The baby died a week later. Could being exposed to mold make her go into labor four weeks early? The placenta ruptured and the mucous plug came out. She currently has a really bad rash and her other children have also been sick.

That is a possibility, especially if it's toxic mold. Toxic mold is a very serious health threat. I recommend she take a sample of the mold and see a doctor. An allergist can determine if her symptoms are/were caused by the high mold levels.
