Question -
I am 27 no children and am 3 weeks pregnant.  I got a beta gch level back of 1100. Is this normal for 3 weeks?
Answer -
Beta HCG values are not very reliable for determining gestational age. You did not mention what the date of the first day of your last period was. We count gestational age from that date.  The ranges are as follows:
3-4 weeks from your LMP ----9-130
         4-5 weeks from your LMP-----75-2600
         5-6 weeks from your LMP-----850-20,800
         6-7 weeks from your LMP----4000-100,200
         7-12 "     "    "   "  ----11,500--289.000

If you are three weeks pregnant, you have not missed your period yet. Usually, we do not recommend taking a pregnancy test until you have missed your period (which would be 4 weeks pregnant or 2 weeks from conception.)

My last period started on April 8th 2004. I have to take provera to start.

Answer
If your last period started on April 8 (after taking Provera), and you have not had a period since, then you should be 7 seeks pregnant today. Why do you think you are 3 weeks pregnant? If the first day of your period was April 8, then you would have ovulated on April 21. YOu could have conceived on April 20,21,22, or 23. If you did conceive on one of those days, a pregnancy test would be positive 14-21 days later or between May 5-12. A sonogram at this time should show a fetus and a fetal heartbeat.
