Persistent C-Section Scar Pain & Swelling: What Could It Be?

I had a baby in 2001 june and the doctors performed a c section. It has been 3 years since.
The other day i had to sneezed 3 times and each time it felt like my insides were ripping around the stitching. The pain still remains after 2 days usually when bending or coughing and there seems to be some swelling on the left end of my scar.I cant see doctor until friday and was wondering if you have seen anything like this and what had caused it.

The scar from the cesarean will not cause any damage three years since the operation. However, you may have developed adhesions in your abdomen. It is not an emergency, but I would make an appointment with your gynecologist and see if the swelling is significant. Perhaps a sonogram can show what this swelling is.
