Humerus Length in Ultrasound: What Does It Mean?

My baby's humerus bones measured 3.9 cm at a 31 week level 2 u/s. Doctor said, they are short, can the baby grow anymore in lenghth. and will he look abnormal. Explain. Doc kinda scared me...leigh

Hello Leigh- just a note of info- I have almost NO faith in what scans tell you about size etc. I urge you to take this info from the dr with a grain of salt. Your baby is most likely just fine and there is nothing to worry about. All the best- Cheri.
