Period Delay & UTI: Possible Pregnancy & What To Do

Hi my name is angela hicks and i am 21 years old. my last period started on sept.22nd and ended on the 27th.i always last 7 to 8 days and it ended only after five days. i currently have a uti and i have taken two pregnancy test both negative,but still no period.am ten days late, my breast are a little sore.could there be any possible way i could be pregnany?

The UTI has nothing to do with your being late for your period. If your last period started on September 22, and you normally have a 28 day cycle (from the first day of your period until the first day of your next period) ovulation occurred around cycle day #14 (October 5) You could have become pregnant if you had unprotected sex on cycle day #13, 14, 15, or 16 (October 4,5,6, or 7). If you did become pregnant on one of those days, a pregnancy test would not show a positive result until 14-21 days later. The best time to take a pregnnacy test is seven days after you miss your period. You were due for your next period on October 19. By now, a pregnancy test should be accurate. If you still have some doubts, take a blood test for pregnancy and you will know for sure.
