Short Period & Heavy Flow: Is It Normal? - Expert Advice

Hello, I'm 18 and I had my period on the 20th. It is usually 7 to 8 days long, and the first two days are really heavy. It's the 24th and my period isn't that heavy at all. It's as if I'm finishing it up. I was wondering if this is normal?

A period is considered normal even if it is very short. I have some patients who get their period for one hour each month. It is abnormal for you to bleed for more than 14 days at a time, but if the period comes at the correct time, even a short period is fine. Don't worry.
