AnswerMy dear Kirsty,
First you must put aside your fears so you can take care of your body, the doctor in this case will be better able to guide you through the process of helping you defeat this thing. I do not know about your diet making it better or worse but it probally will help to cut out so much read meat. The pain is telling you that something is wrong and it needs to be looked at by a professional so please go and ask a friend to go with you to make it less scary and you will be just fine :-)
God Bless
