Frequent Periods & Possible Pregnancy Concerns: Seeking Advice
QuestionI am a 31 yr old female, I already have one child.
my question is this. On february 3rd, I got my menstrual period. It lasted the normal 4 days. But then on February 21st. I got my period again and it lasted another 4 days. I took a pregnancy test but the test came out negative. I was wondering if the pregnancy test could be wrong? Right now I have a really bad chest cold, But I have also been throwing up alot. Somethings I eat I feel nausious, and when the heat is on I get really hot and I feel like I am going to throw up or pass out. This is not normal for me, So I was wondering should I be concerned about being pregnant, and just the pregnancy hormone isnt real high? If you could help me that would be great. Thanks
AnswerSince you have not missed any periods, there is no reason to suspect that you may be pregnant. You had a period on February 3 and then started bleeding again 19 days later. YOu merely hd an abnormal period. Irregular bleeding does not indicate preganancy, but rather a hormonal imbalance. If you continue to have cycles that are less than 21 days in length, I would suggest that you start birth control pills to regulate your cycle.
