Understanding Irregular Bleeding: What Could It Mean?

the first day of my last NORMAL period was jan 10 . i have a 26
day cycle to the hour! I estimate i ovulated on or around Jan 22.
my husband and i had unprotected sex a lot around those days.
i was expecting my period on feb 5...but instead got some
spotting on the 7 that lasted all day, then nothing the next day
and then dark brown almost black and dark dark red bleeding
for 2 days. yesterday i had some light pink but only when i
wiped...took a first response hpt on feb8 negative.
this bleeding is very different than usual and i;m still
experiencing some pregnancy symptoms. is it possible that i'm
pregnant?

it is definately possible you could be pregnant.  most home pregnancy test do not show true results until a month or more after conception.  my thought is that you probably took the test to early.  a blood test could show results now but urine test can take up to 2 months.  good luck.
