Pregnancy Timeline & Test Accuracy: Estimating Conception Date

My due date was april 5, 2007 i delivered on april 4th i think my last period was around june 27th but im not to sure.  what day did i get pregnent on? also can a pregnency test come out negitive when you are pregent? I took a test at the hospital on july 16th and it was negative but my midwife said i might have got pregnent around the 11th  i am so confused can u please help me  Thank You

If you got pregnant around July 11th, it's very possible that your hCG levels were too low for a home pregnancy test to pick up on it. It usually takes about 2 weeks after fertilization for your hCG levels to be high enough that a home pregnancy test can detect them. Based on the information you've given me, July 11th sounds like the most likely time for you to have conceived if you normally have 28 day cycles.
