Hi,
I just switched over to Ortho Novum 777. I am getting married Nov 13th and going on my honeymoon 10 days afterwards. If I want to skip my period in the month of Nov to ensure I will not have my period during my wedding or honeymoon can I just take the 3 weeks of pills and skip the last (period week of pills)and start a new case.
I am not familiar with this brand? Please advise me.

Answer -
Yes. In order to avoid getting your period, merely take the first 21 days of the active pills and then immediately start a new pack the very next day, without takng the placebo pills (cycle day 22-28). When you want to get your period, just stop the pills and you will start bleeding a few days later.

Answer
Start taking the pack of pills. Take 1 through 21. Then start a brand new pack the next day instead of taking the placebo pills (#22-28). When you want to get your period, merely stop the pills. Once you start bleeding a few days after stopping the pills, start a new pack on the Sunday following the first day you start bleeding. Good lUck.
