AnswerMost women with threatened miscarriages due to subchorionic bleeding do not miscarry and the subchorionic bleed dissipates within a few weeks. The article that you referred me to merely shows that a subchorionic bleed that occurs later in the pregnancy has a different outcome than onw that occurs in early pregnancy. The article also mentioins that most resolve and go on to have normal pregnancies. I have seen many, many patients with subchorionic bleeds in the past 30 years. Most had normal healthy babies.
