Understanding PCOS, Clomid, Twin Loss & D&C: A Patient's Story

i have  PCOD and and concivedd
used clomid and progesterone
28th july 2005 was my first day of my last period
..i went in for my first sonogram on 26th sept and was told i am carrying twins and one has no heart beat however the 2nd had a heartbeat of 156 beats per minute  
went in for a 2nd sonogram on 13th october and was told the 2nd was also with no heartbeat
had to go in for a D&C and now i am waiting for my next period .
I have had irregular cycles and conceived with progesterone and clomid only
by when can i expect  my next period and how soon will i be able to concive again and how soon cani as in will itbe safe ?

I'm sorry you went through that. You should get a period within 4-6 weeks from the D&C and can start trying to conceive as soon as you get your next period. Medically, there is no reason to wait. Psychologically or emotionally, if you are up to it, go for it. Ovulation usually will occur 14 days after the start of your next period. You probably will need Clomid and progesterone once again, and should continue the progesterone once you become pregnant and every day until the 12th week of pregnancy.
