Dental X-rays and Fertility: Can You Conceive After an X-ray?

I had to have an urgent tooth Xray on the first day of my  menstrual period (i.e 1st of November) Is it safe to try to conceive this month. I am over 40 and have been ttc for ages! Thank you

You certainly can start trying to conceive this month even if you had a dental X-ray. Dental X-rays are coned down and do not interfere with a pregnancy. You even can take dental X-rays while you are pregnant.If your last period started on November 1,  you should have started your period by November 29. If you don't get your period by December 5, take a pregnancy test. Try concentrating on intercourse on cycle day #13, 14, 15, and 16 each month. Good Luck.
