Understanding Implantation Pain & Trying to Conceive

Question
I'm 23, never pregnant before, my last perid was 5/22/06-5/26/06. I do not have regular perids they come every 3-6 months. I was given Provera to induce a perid a few months ago and it worked. I have never had an STD of any kind was last tested 6 months ago and I've had the same partner for 8 years. This perid came naturaly. My husband and I are TTC. I took 100mg of Clomid days 5/26-5/30 of my cycle. We had sex 6/3 and 6/5 of my fertle days. I was taking the dollar store home ovulation predicters everyday but they never came up possitive. Are there conditions that will cause false resalts in ovulation tests? I think I did ovulate because on 6/2 I was extreamly emotional. Now I think I could be pregnant but I don't want to get my hopes up. On 6/9/06 2pm I started having cramps in my abdomen center and left side and I feel bloated. The cramping  lessened untill it stopped 6/11 when I woke up this a.m. Could this be implantation pains? It felt like menstral cramps. My sister had pain with her first child. I still feel bloated and for the past 4 days my nipples have been extreamly sore (can't touch them or sleep on my stomach as I normally do). Can an ovarian cyst cause these symptoms? Are there other conditions that may cause these pains and discompfort?  Thank You for your help. I just need to calm down.

Answer
I assume that you meant that your period started on April 22 and that  you started the Clomid on April 26,27,28,29,and 30. You probably ovulated on May 5 and you could have conceived if you had sex on May 4,5,6, or 7.  If you did concieve on one of those days, implantation occurs 8 days later (after fertilization). The best time to take a pregnancy test is seven days after missing your next period. You are due for your period on May 19. If you do not get your period by May 26, take a pregnancy test. Good luck.
