QuestionI was with a partner in early April.I don't have a date and another in the middle to end of that month.my LMP was April 16th.A scan in june dated preg as 8weeks,I have a baby now who does not look like the supposed father and I.I was just wondering the possibility that partner1 is the father. Was the supposed LMP have been a implantation bleed based on the child's look?Thank you.
AnswerIf the ultrasound date was consistent with the dating from your LMP, then it is extremely unlikely that Partner 1 is the father. If the dates line up, then the LMP was not implantation bleeding.
Do you have the date of your u/s? If it was in mid-June, it is definitely pointing to the 2nd man as being the father.
Sometimes babies just don't look that much like their parents; they'll pick up genes from several generations back.
You might want to have a paternity test done for your own peace of mind. I don't think it's all that likely that the first man is the father, but without further information to go on (such as the dates you were with him and the u/s dates) I wouldn't rule it out.
