Questioni am now almost 22 years old having had my first pregnancy aborted at the age of 19 because of my lifestyle, i was a drug addict.
the day after i had no bleeding but extreme lower abdominal pain which caused me to venture back to the hospital where i was admitted into emergency right away, i told them that i was on meth because i was afraid that it could have been a cause of what was happening, which i regret. I wasn't given any pain medication, a blanket or pillow during my stay and was writhing and crying in pain requesting all of the previous mentioned and was denied. When the doctor finally came into the room he was not wearing a medical coat and didnt answer any of my questions. He inserted a speculum and i immediatlely felt relief, my blood was thick as jelly and had remained in the uterus what he told me was a localized blood clot not requiring a DNC or whatever it is called where the repaat the process. After this i experienced extream pain almost everyday in the lower abdomen with no help. I visited several different doctors and hospitals seeking relief knowing that no pain like this had ever occurred to me before my abortion. i have been treated for various gastroal intestinal problems with no pain relief. I have in the past year been bloating intensively in the belly and surrounding area and now the pain has moved up from my lady organs to all parts of my tummy and my limbs are beggining to swell and my muscles are gone leaving fat celulite like chunks on even my arms! i think that they screwed up my procedure and when i went back after was not treated right having only been givin three days worth of antibiotics and being dismisssed. Other doctors ignored me when i told them it all started after the abortion seeking other problems. I feel so ill suffering from fatigue and withdrawing myself out of life. What could have happened and what should i do now? how do i seek support and justice? i feel like im dying and im so young and they cant seem to figure out whats wrong even though i tell all the doctors of my abortion and the complication after resulting in all my pain and suffering , I went to the hospital again yesterday and i finally got some answers saying that my blood test showed that i might be suffering from infection or parasites. I did a stool sample , but that doesnt seem to me that my poop will show whats wrong in my lady parts. what are my chances of battling the hospital in court? i believe my constant pain, suffering, enlargement and muscle loss and weight gain deserve compensation. is that something that i will actually be likely to fight and win? im scared.

I am so sorry you are having a rough time. This sounds very, very serious. If there is any way you can get to the United States to get medical care, I urge you to do so. The Canadian system is a mess. I am hoping and praying that our Congress doesn't adopt a system like yours, and we're trying to fight it.
