Irregular Periods & Pregnancy Concerns: A Timeline & Discussion

Hi from feb. 2006 my periods were every 25 days. Then in sept 2006 I had 2 periods 1 was on the 6th of sept. and 1 on the 20th of sept. My next period was 25 days later on the 15th of October. Then I went 32 days til my next period which was on the 16th of Nov. they have all been pretty much normal periods. Well on the 14th of december i took a pregnancy test it was negative then i took another one on the 21st of dec. it was also negative. I was still feeling pregnant and my breasts started to get really sore and i was nauseated so I took antoher test on the 4th of january because i didnt have a period in december and still hadnt started. well it came back positive. okay they both came back positive that night. well today on the 7th i started to have menstrual like cramps in my back and had a pinkish color when i wiped after peeing. is this normal and can you tell me about how far along you think i am. im going to call tomorrow to make an appointment

Calculating an estimated due date is done by using the 1st day of your LMP. With that being 11/16, I get an estimated conception date of 12/1; an estimated due date of 8/24/07; making you approximately 7 weeks 3 days along.

More than likely your tests in December were just a bit early, it was a test that had a higher minimum reading level, or the urine was too diluted, especially if very concentrated 1st morning urine was not used.

The symptoms you are having are not necessarily unusual. Many women have a bit of cramps and/or spotting early in pregnancy. It's good you're making your 1st prenatal appointment. That will help to ease your mind and they will probably do an ultrasound to confirm dates for you.
