Questioni am 22 yrs old, no children yet.i had my period last April 16 and had an unprotected sex last April 26. i have this weird feeling of a pregnancy scare though im expecting sometime on the 14th...please advise.tnx.
AnswerIf you have a normal 28 day cycle (from the first day or your period until the first day of your next period) ovulation occurs on cycle day #14. You can only become pregnant if you have unprotected sex on cycle day #13, 14, 15, or 16. If your period started on April 16, you probably ovulated on April 29 and could have conceived if you had sex on April 28,29,30, or May 1. It is doubtful that you conceived as early as April 26. However, if you have any smptoms of pregnancy(brest tenderness, fatigue, nausea) if you do not get your period by May 13, wait an additional week and if you do not bleed by May 20, take a pregnancy test. The best time to take a pregnancy test is seven days after missing your next period. If you have a normal 28 day cycle, and your last period started on April 16, you are due for your next period on May 13 (28 days).
