QuestionI'm 30 yrs old and have 2 children aged 4 and 7 years old. My period has always been regular, however, this month it is now 7 days overdue. What could be the cause? How long should I wait before I should see a doctor?
Thank you in advance for your assistance.
AnswerAs long as you aren't pregnant, it doesn't matter if you miss a period. I wouldn't run to the doctor unless you stop having periods. If they become irregular, it isn't really a medical problem that would need treatment. However, if you think you could be pregnant, that is easy enough to check.
Hope this helps...
