Possible Pregnancy After Antibiotics & Birth Control - What To Do?

Question
I am 17, I have no children, and my first day of my last period was April 19th ( a few days early ) I am on birth control, but was on antibiotics during my last period..which cancels out the next month of birth control. On May 20th, there was a possibility of sperm entering.. Considering that I should be getting my period in 4-7 days, what is the chance that I could be pregnant? Would a morning after pill 36 hours later be beneficial to my situation?

Answer
If you are on antibiotics during  your period, they do not cancel out the next month of birth control. You only have to worry during the time of taking the antiobiotics. While you are taking antiobiotics, use some other form of birth control (condoms, diaphram, etc) in addition to the pill. You will still be protected. If you last period started on April 19, and you were not taking the pill, you would have ovulated around May 2 and could have conceived only if you had sex on May 1,2,3, or 4. (If you were taking the pill, you would not ovulate even if you were taking antibiotics). You could not conceive on any other day of the month. May 20 was too late to become pregnant. You could not become pregnant so late in your cycle.  You were due for your period on May 16, so, by now a pregnancy  test would be accurate. Take a pregnancy test. If it is negative, you are not pregnant. A morniing after pill (Plan B)  is effective if taken within 72 hours of intercourse.
