Delayed Period: Safe Ways to Encourage Menstruation?

Hi,
I am 2 days late on my period and I dont want to end up being pregnant.Though I didnt have unprotected sex around the ovulation time,but still I dont want to take chances.Can you suggest me any  medicine/herbal option to induce my period? I hope it is safe to take these pills.Please help.

No, I can't recommend anything to start your period. There really is no reason to worry about being 2 days late. That is somewhat normal. I wouldn't recommend any pills because I have had many emails and reports about women taking these and causing terrible bleeding and other health problems. Some women have even bled to death, though that is not common. I would recommend waiting a few days to see if your period starts. Don't get stressed and try to relax.
