QuestionI am desperately wanting to be a mum and my husband and I last month decided to start trying. I stopped taking my mini pill (Noriday) at the start of my last period 9th March 07 I was told it can takes ages to become pregnant after stopping Noriday but I wonder if I already am. I am on a 28 day text book cycle and we last had sex 8 days ago (possible time of ovulation) but already my breasts are very tingly around my nipple area as of yesterday. Is this a possible early sign? Im confused.

Breast tenderness or swelling can be an early sign of pregnancy, but it is generally a hormonal symptom and you really cannot diagnose pregnancy based on symptoms alone.
If your LMP was 3/9, based on a 28 day cycle, your fertile window would have been 3/20-3/30. We'd expect that you would have ovulated on approximately 3/23-24. The couple of days before and the day of ovulation are the most fertile time of your cycle.
If you think you may be pregnant, you'll need to wait and see if you miss your period. If you do not have your period as expected or if you have only a bit of bleeding - less than normal volume and shorter than a normal period - you should test for pregnancy. I typically recommend that women wait until after the full week of a missed or spotty period before testing for pregnancy.
