Provera & Yaz Side Effects: A College Student's Experience & Concerns

Question

I am currently a college student and have been having problems with an abnormal lining of the uterus. I was put on Provera on the 5th of January and came off of it on the 17th of January. The Provera made me lose interest in food, lose weight, sore nipples, nausa, had trouble sleeping, and in general feel awful.
I had somewhat of a allergic reaction to it and was then put on Yaz. With Yaz, I am hungry, have gained a pound or two, sore nipples, and milky discharge.
I have never had sex, but my boyfriend and I have only done petting and are always very careful. He knows that nothing could have ever have happened to put me in danger of pregnancy. However, with all these medications, I don't know what to think is going on with my body.
There has never been a chance that ejactulant fluid could have gotten anywhere near my vagina. If anything, fluid would be precum. I'm sorry to be so graphic, but he would pleasure me first and then I him. I have taken 2 pregnancy tests (my period was due the 1st of Feb)and they were both negative.
I really just don't know what to think. The symptoms that concern me are:
Milky vaginal discharge
Breast increase
Veins in collar bone area increase
Nipples a little sore (3 on pain scale)
Beginning Yaz, it gave me stomach cramps, loose stools, heartburn, and some nausa.

I believe I ovulated on the 10th of January and that chance of pregnancy would have happened on the 11th of January. (Again, no sex, just petting)

Please, I really would like your advice whether you think I am in danger of pregnancy or not. Is it normal to have the opposite effect of provera (lose weight) with the Yaz (gain weight). Thank you so very much in advance! Your reply will put me at some ease so I know what course of action I need to take to stop worrying. Thank you.

Answer
Hi Megan,

Thanks for your question. I'm not a doctor so I always advise to check with your physician. I don't think there is a big chance that you could be pregnant but it's slightly possible. You will have to see if you miss your next period or have more pregnancy symptoms. I advise you to call 1-800-395-HELP or go to http://www.optionline.org to find a pregnancy center near you. You can call them and get an appointment. They can give you a free pregnancy test and give your advice/support. Another good website is http://www.heartbeatinternational.org/worldwide_directory.asp
Please email me at DCHERYL51@yahoo.com and let me know what happens. Looking forward to hearing from you.
