Pregnancy Risk from Semen in Toilet Water: A Medical Perspective

Hi Brenda,

I am in an embarrassing situation here. On monday, after I came from work, I
rest about an hour. During my sleep I had a wet dream, I woke up quickly, got
to the bathroom and washed myself. Before washing, I dropped a few drops
of semen in the toilet (i don't know if it dropped in the water or on the walls
of the toilet), and I don't remember if I flushed the toilet or not.

Here comes the dilemma: After an hour from this "event", I had some friends
visiting me. There was also a girl among them who asked me if she can use
the bathroom.

Now, is there any chance that this girl can get pregnant due to some water
(containing few of my semen) that splashed her while standing on the toilet
seat?

I have a lot of awful thoughts about this since monday.

Dear Andrew,

The chance of a pregnancy occurring from a situation as you've described is so very, very, very low. In fact, I would say it would be near to impossible. I would not spend one more second of time worrying about it. But do make sure that you always flush and wipe the seat to avoid any sleepless nights in the future!  :-)
