Understanding Irregular Cycles & Fertility Concerns After Miscarriage

I am 28 yrs old and had a very painful miscarriage about 5-6 yrs ago and did not go to a doctor afterwards. Because of this I believe that I can't have children. I have never had abnormal paps and no complications with my cylces until last month. I had two in the same month 14 days apart. Before the 1st cylce I had unprotected sex. The 2nd cycle was strange, no craps and lasted 3 days (so I thought) so I had sex and then returned during sex 2days later and the next day completely gone. I have taken 2 at home test and one at the dr (all urine samples). Now, I have been experiencing VERY tender breast for the past week and a half. Sharp pains, fullness but not firm, tender nipples in the morning and when I wake up plus a very sore back. Could this be a pregnancy or something worse?

Because the timing of your period was so irregular this month, it would be hard to determine whether you could have gotten pregnant or not.  However, that chance is still there.  The only way to rule out pregnancy is to have your Dr. send your for some lab work.  As far as the symptoms you are experiencing, they could be from a number of things form pregnancy to, ovarian cysts, to infection.  I would make an appointment with your OB/GYN to have him examine you.  Good luck!
