Delayed Period After D&C: What to Expect & When to Worry

I had a miscarriage,it was a missed abortion during 14th week of pregnancy,had d&c on 10Nov,2008.The spotting continued for two weeks,then stopped. Its about 7 week nw but I m still waiting for my periods.I had 28/32 cycle routine.Now I am very upset, Is it normal?how long should I wait ?what could be the reasons for this delay.do I need to visit my gyne ?

It is quite normal for your period to be 2-4 weeks late than expected. Therefore if you expect your period every 32 days, you may be getting it on 11 December considering the D & C on November 10. However a delay till the middle of the second week of january can be normal.
