Post D&C: Understanding Delayed Period & Fertility

My third pregnancy ended on Sept 23 when I had a D&C due to no heartbeat.  I was 20w5d.  I have not had a period yet...bled for approx. 1week and 4 days after d&c.  Just wondering why i haven't had a period and is it ok if we are trying to conceive even though i haven't had one?

Hi Katrina,

It's ok that you're trying to conceive, however I'm worried you may not be ovulating. By now, your hormones should have returned to normal but they haven't. I advise you visit your doctor to check everything is working the way it should and maybe start medication to help with the return of your period.
