QuestionDear Sir,
My wife is third time pregnant,now i had a baby girl she is 3years old.first time aborted after 1 month and second time she conceived took more care and bed rests so we got the baby girl.now she is again conceived and confirmed by ultra sound scan,but the scanning doctors report says that,
Uterus shows a gestational sac with a foetal pole
Foetal cardiac flicker not seen
CRL measures 0.48 cms corresponding to 06 wks 1 day
No subchorionic haemorrhage at the time of scan
POD is clear
No adnexal mass lesion
Internal os is closed at the time of scan
Cervical length is normal.
We r worried and tensed of the report that Cardiac flicker not seen,so sir kindly reply and gave us an opinion what we need to do next.

If this pregnancy is early like 6-7 weeks, it ma.ay be a wise choice to repeat the ultrasound in 1-2 weeks especially if the ultrsound machine is of low resolution and/or the operator is not experienced enough. Sometimes cardiac beats cannot be seen early in pregnancy.
