Unexpected Bleeding: Possible Causes & What to Do

I'm bleeding and i don't know why. Could i be pregnant or could i have had a miscarriage? My bleeding isn't reddish brown or spotting, it's been like a period. Can you help me?

There could be a lot of reasons why you are bleeding. I assume its not your normal time of the month. Could you have been pregnant? Have you changed contraception latey? Or maybe missed some of your contraception pill, if you are taking it. If you think you could have been pregnant it might be advisable to go see your doctor. However, if you think it's unlikely, then it's very possible that your cycle has just been messed up by illness, or stress maybe. If you do not resume a normal cycle after a couple of months then maybe go and see your doctor anyway. Irregular bleeding is some times a sign of infection or other internal problems.
