i have a gold ring band that says AU 10 K AND IM NOT SURE IF ITS REAL

Hi Alana,

The stamp 'AU' is the chemical symbol for gold and '10K' is the quality stamp meaning the ring is 10 karat gold or is an alloy of 24 karat gold (10/24ths or 42%). The  only way to be sure is to have the gold analysed for purity. More than likely it is real 10K gold.
