QuestionHey,
I'm 16, and female.
I lost my virginity in december last year, and the condom may have broken (we're not sure, we didn't check as someone got home just after we'd finished so he yanked it off and threw it out really fast). I wasn't on the pill then.
After that, my period was really late, and i was nauseous in the mornings, had bad headaches, and was really moody.
About two weeks after my period was expected, i had very light bleeding. My boyfriend and i got all excited. The next day i got up, and was bleeding heavily, and had bad cramping. I got in the shower, and was bleeding heavilty and still had cramping. Something came out of me, it looked like a blood clot except more solid, and was kind of bean shaped. It was about an inch long.
Did I miscarry?
Thank you.
AnswerHello Diana
It's possible that you may have miscarried, however at this late stage it would be impossible to tell.
It's more than likely that you have suffered a heavy period and the bean shaped object that came out of you was a clot. Clots can come in different shapes, sizes and consistencies.
This has obviously been playing on your mind since it happened. I think that sometimes it's worse not knowing if you have had a miscarriage, at least then you can find closure and move on.
If you feel like you're unable to move forward it may be worth talking to your doctor.
I hope this has helped you.
Kindest Regards
Sarah
